Ewaoluwa Olatunji, who goes by the stage name Ewa Cole aka Queen of Afro-Solk, has broken the Guinness World Record for the longest marathon singing Christmas song.
The record was awarded by the Guinness World Records on its official account on Thursday. Ewa, a 29-year-old from Lagos, Nigeria, sang for an impressive 31 hours straight from December 27 to 28, 2023, becoming the first holder of this record.
During the record attempt, she sang classic Christmas tunes like “Deck the Halls,” “Frosty the Snowman,” and “Silent Night,” ensuring no song was repeated within a one-hour period.
She was allowed a five-minute break after each continuous hour of singing, during which she could eat, rest, or use the bathroom.
